Filip Černý: Čtyři denní doby

Filip Černý (born 1975 in Prague) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague between 1995 - 2002 (Painting Studio I, School of Prof. Jiří Sopek). In 2001 he studied at the Academie voor Beeldende Kunst Enschede (Netherlands). On the Czech art scene, he is the one of the first to use airbrush experiments in free painting. He has been exhibiting regularly since 2001. Important projects that have placed the author’s work in the context of contemporary art and visual culture include the Artnow.cz project (Mánes Exhibition Hall, Prague, 2003), Perfect tense / Painting Today (Prague Castle Riding Hall) , Prague, 2003), Intercity: Berlin - Prague (Haus am Waldsee, Berlin, 2005), International Biennial of Contemporary Art (NG - Trade Fair Palace, 2005), Resetting.
