Double Bass, Harp, Violin
When the violin, harp, and double bass — an instrumental trio that appears on stage only rarely — meet in one hall, music with entirely new energy emerges. And it is precisely this imaginative and uncommon combination of instruments that forms the central magic of an evening that will once again enliven the historic spaces of the Purkrabství.
Three outstanding performers — violinist Jan Jouza, harpist Roxana Hädler, and double bassist Adam Honzírek — invite you to a concert that blends elegance, delicacy, and vibrant temperament.
The program will include, among other works, Ástor Piazzolla’s Fünf Tangos — rhythms that in this original instrumentation gain a fresh color, depth, and an unexpected spark.
WHAT CAN YOU LOOK FORWARD TO?
In this unique lineup
- Adam Honzírek, principal double bassist of the Czech Philharmonic, is an interpreter described by critics with words such as “pure talent” and “marvelous.” His tone carries both strength and subtlety, and in combination with harp and violin creates a sound that lingers in the memory.
- Roxana Hädler, harpist of the State Opera and the Hradec Králové Philharmonic, has earned awards both at home and abroad and regularly appears on Europe’s most prestigious stages. Her harp can be sparkling, dramatic, and surprisingly fiery.
- Jan Jouza, violinist of the Czech Philharmonic and founder of the Tóny architektury concert series, brings to the trio the nobility and energy of an experienced performer whose playing tells stories with both lightness and depth.
