The chamber ensemble Variace invites you to an evening filled with delicacy, depth, and joyful energy that only Mozart can offer. We open the door to another encounter with music that never grows old and never loses its charm.
During the evening, you will hear:
- Ave verum corpus – a harmonious prayer full of peace and tenderness
- String Quartet in G major, K. 156 – youthful freshness and playfulness
- Adagio and Fugue in C minor, K. 546 – dramatic depth and masterful contrapuntal writing
- String Quartet in C major No. 19 “Dissonance”, K. 465 – one of Mozart’s boldest works

Variace String Quartet
The ensemble Variace, founded in 1997 by violinists Jan and Vojtěch Jouza, violist Vlasta Beranová, and cellist Josef Dvořák, has built a strong reputation on both the Czech and international music scenes over nearly three decades. Their interpretative style combines precision, stylistic sensitivity, and the ability to evoke deep emotions in their listeners.
