The space of present day information centre and a part of the adjacent passage is all that has remained of the monumental Gothic gate known as the Špička Gate.

The Brick Gate (Cihelná brána)
The information centre with the entrance to the Casemates and the Gorlice Hall is situated in the Brick Gate, the gate built in 1841 in the Empire style.
