Annemari Vardanyan : In search of freedom

Annemari Vardanyan (born 1994 in Yerevan, Armenia) - in 2009-2014 she graduated from the Václav Hollar Art School in Prague and after that in 2015-2021 she graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (Drawing Studio, Jiří Petrbok School; Painting Studio IV, Marek Meduna School). In 2020, she became a finalist for the Critics’ Award for Young Painting with Overlaps. We were able to see the author’s work on the projects Sokolovský zázrak (Church of St. Anthony of Padua, Sokolov, 2018), Let me tell you a story about … (with L. Limbourg; Galerie Kritiků, Prague 2020), Méghatos 28 (Hybernská Campus , Prague, 2021), Shower after murder (Galerie Kritiků, Prague, 2021), Parallel Scenarios (The Chemistry Gallery, Prague, 2021) or the project No Drama (Prague House, Brussels, 2021).
