Rules for Entry and Parking in the Vyšehrad National Cultural Monument Area
The Vyšehrad National Cultural Monument area operates as a pedestrian zone.
Between Táborská and Leopoldova Gates is entry permitted for service vehicles, making this section a publicly accessible area. Parking is allowed within a mixed paid parking zone and is subject to fees.
Mixed Paid Parking Zone (P2-0185): 20 spaces, Mon–Fri, 8:00–20:00, CZK 40/hour, max. 12 hours
Between Leopoldova and Cihelná Gates is entry permitted for supply vehicles, taxis, liturgical ceremonies, emergency services, and the municipal police.
All other vehicles require prior authorization from the Vyšehrad National Cultural Monument (NKP Vyšehrad).
- Two types of permits are issued.
- Applicants must be property owners or their tenants/residents within the NKP Vyšehrad area or owners/tenants of burial sites at Vyšehrad Cemetery.
Parking Card: A year-round or time-limited permit tied to the vehicle’s license plate.
Visitor Card: A year-round or time-limited permit tied to the name of a legal entity.

Applications for permits must be submitted via an online form.

The permit issuance fee is CZK 130 per permit, including replacements or changes to the vehicle’s license plate.

Podolské Schody Street: Mixed Paid Parking Zone (P4-1311): 35 spaces, Mon–Fri, 8:00–20:00, CZK 20/hour, max. 12 hours
