Jitka Petrášová: KUNĚROL

Jitka Petrášová (born 1981 in Strakonice) - In 1995 - 1999 she graduated from the Secondary Private Art School in Písek and in 2000-2008 from the Faculty of Education of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (Art Education for Art Schools). Since 2019 she has been studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (Painting Studio I, Robert Šalanda School). In addition to free painting, she also works on book illustrations. She co-owned book publishing house Kodni Library. Since 2006 she has been participating in the traveling exhibition project Křížová chodba. At the end of 2020, she was selected from among the talented students of art colleges to present her work at the Vyšehrad Gallery with the support of Foundation “Nadání Josefa, Marie a Zdeňky Hlávkových”. Due to the state of emergency and government restrictions, the exhibition was postponed to 2021.
