MÁ VLAST NA VYŠEHRADĚ ⁑

SYMFONICKÝ ORCHESTR HL. M. PRAHY FOK
DIRIGENT: Tomáš BRAUNER

Vyšehrad is a sacred place where our people go on festive occasions. It is no wonder that Smetana began his brilliant cycle of poems at Vyšehrad. And there is no more appropriate time for the FOK to fly on musical wings from the Municipal House to Vyšehrad Gardens for the first time in its history than when Smetana is celebrating his 200th birthday and the Prague Symphony Orchestra is approaching its 90th. And yet, the musicians will feel a bit at home at the premiere on Old Town soil. The attentive viewer will not miss the fact that the Smetana Hall and Vyšehrad plain are decorated with a statue of Lumír with a harp, because everything begins with the harp. Smetana could tell a story.
