Exhibition of Light Objects by the Glass School in Kamenický Šenov, Celebrating Its 170th Anniversary in 2026

This exhibition invites you into the imaginative world of young designers from the Light Object Design studio, who boldly and creatively push the boundaries of traditional lighting. Their works – ranging from functional floor lamps to free-form light installations – combine glass, metal, and light in a harmony that dazzles and inspires. Each piece demonstrates that even with minimal energy consumption, a radiant experience can be created.

Set in the unique underground hall of Gorlice, the exhibition features light installations that engage in a visual dialogue with original Baroque sculptures from Charles Bridge, creating a striking interplay between historical art and contemporary design.

DATES: September 25 – November 30, 2025
The exhibition is part of the guided tour route from the Casemates to Gorlice.
