Singer Marie Puttnerová, known for her work in unique Czech music ensembles Jablkoň, Půljabkoň, and Zvíře jménem Podzim, has joined forces with Martin Novák (Robert Křesťan & Druhá tráva, Lanugo, Blue Shadows, Jaromír Honzák Quintet, David Dorůžka Trio) to create a shared musical world. This world is shaped not only by Puttnerová’s original songs but also by fragments of poetry set to music, including the delicate verses of Jan Zahradníček and the surreal poetry of Vlastimil Třešňák.

A key turning point came in 2022 when they began collaborating with British producer Eddie Stevens (Druhá tráva, Jana Kirschner, Roisín Murphy, Moloko). This partnership led to the release of Puttnerová’s debut album “Laila tov” on April 28, 2023. She presents this album to audiences not only with a full band but also in an intimate duo setting with Martin Novák.
