EMPEROR AT VYŠEHRAD

The event, for visitors of all generations, wants to commemorate the handover of Vyšehrad to Prague in 1909-1919 and the visit of Emperor Franz Joseph I to Vyšehrad in 1907. The main programme includes a historical procession through Vyšehrad, a ceremonial welcome of the Emperor and a speech on the acropolis. The accompanying programme includes a concert by the C.K. Cadet Music, an equestrian performance by the Štvanci Association, demonstrations of the period C.K. field kitchen and lectures at the Purkrabství on the theme of the handover of Vyšehrad from the hands of the army of the capital to the C.K. Prague.

- 11.00 a.m. arrival of Emperor Franz Joseph I., parade from Mýtný pláck

Throughout the day demonstration of C. K. field kitchen and bottle maker, Royal Precinct.

ATTENTION: Electronic tickets purchased in advance in the online presale will have to be exchanged for a wristband at the information booth in the Royal District in front of the Purkrabstvo.

- children under 6 years free of charge
- Disabled - reduced admission - i.e. 190 CZK + free escort.

ATTENTION: the casemates are not wheelchair accessible and are not suitable for disabled persons with disabilities.
Tickets, which will be in the form of a wristband, will also be available for purchase on site at the Brick Gate, at the Vyšehrad Information Centre, in the Gothic Cellar.

The sale of tickets to the underground will be closed at 17:00.
