At the chamber concert you will hear an unusual ensemble called The Elephant in the Opera, which will play an intermezzo from Carmen G. Bizeta, ukázku z opery Sedlák kavalír P. Mascagniho, sonátu pro housle a harfu italského skladatele G. Donizettiho či hudbu G. Bottesini and C. Saint-Saëns.


Roxana Hädler, the excellent harpist of the State Opera Orchestra, Jan Jouza, violinist of the Czech Philharmonic, and Adam Honzírek, leader of the double bass group, decided to try out the unconventional instrumental combination for the first time on the April 2023 evening as part of the Tones of Architecture series. Since the concert at Strahov Monastery was a huge success and was completely sold out, they are performing this programme in other venues as well.
