Filharmoniště: Jazz Manouche
A Little Musical Journey Through France
Zdenka Trvalcová, a musical theatre and chanson singer and actress, together with guitarist Tibor Žida, will introduce the audience to the light-hearted genre of jazz manouche.
Their program, “Paris, Paris”, features not only arrangements of well-known French chansons but also their own original compositions, which honor the tradition of the jazz manouche style.
Zdenka Trvalcová’s voice, with its distinctive timbre, evokes the era when Edith Piaf sang in the streets of Paris. It’s no coincidence—Zdenka portrayed Piaf for several years in the musical “Edith Piaf – The Sparrow from the Suburbs.”
The performance is designed for very young children under 3 years of age.
