Vyšehrad Cemetery
The oldest cemetery in historic Prague still in use today took on its current form in the 19th century, when it was surrounded by Neo-Renaissance arcades. In the shadow of the majestic Basilica of St. Peter and Paul, more than a thousand prominent Czech figures from the worlds of science, politics, art, and sports are laid to rest here. The Vyšehrad Cemetery is a unique gallery of sculptures and a quiet symphony of human stories.
The Vyšehrad Cemetery is administered by the Prague Cemetery and Funeral Services.
