What will you see on the tour?

Church of St. John the Baptist
Visit the unique space of the deconsecrated Gothic Church of St. John the Baptist, hidden within the ramparts of the Baroque fortifications. From the outside, we will also see the Romanesque Rotunda of St. Martin, one of the oldest church buildings in Prague, and the main Vyšehrad Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul.

Vyšehrad Cemetery
The oldest cemetery in Prague, with its famous Slavín tomb, took on its present form in the 19th century, when it became a national burial ground. Today, it is the final resting place of many important figures from Czech science, politics, art, and sports. Discover this unique gallery of stories and artistic monuments with us.

Casemates and Gorlice
Discover the intricate system of underground passages built during the conversion of Vyšehrad into an imperial fortress. Visit Gorlice, the largest underground hall in historic Prague, where six original Baroque statues from Charles Bridge are now stored. In the exhibition at Cihelná Gate, we will introduce you to period plans, graphics, and a replica of the "Josef" field cannon.
